Fortunately my lady wife is also in love with little Fiona, so...it's cool. When we were in Mexico in September, we avoided reading any actual news but we waited with bated breath for new episodes of The Fiona Show on Facebook.
I dare you to watch this tiny premature hippo's journey without doing the ugly cry at least once. I DARE YOU.

A year ago today was the U.S. election, you guys; a night that even our emotional support shar pei couldn't get us through unscathed. We've all developed our coping mechanisms to deal with the Upside Down that we unwillingly entered that day; lunchtime activism, only following comedians and Maxine Waters on Twitter, sharply increasing our ingestion of edible marijuana products.
It looks like a lot of folks celebrated the anniversary of the beginning of the end by voting in yesterday's elections and electing some amazing non-fuckos - so that is awesome! But still, amid the chaos, sometimes it's nice to imagine that you're just floating around with baby Fiona, being adored by millions of fans, loving the world and giving gravity a great bit "fuck you".
